Kokarako (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides farm management software for poultry businesses, available as a web and mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your information. By using Kokarako, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information — your name, email address and phone number when you register.
- Business data you enter — records you create in the app, such as farms, batches, stock, procurement, sales, expenses, cash collections and related financial information.
- Payment information — when you subscribe to a paid plan, payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
- Usage and device data — basic technical information such as device type, app version and log data, used to keep the service running and secure.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information only to:
- provide, operate and maintain the application;
- process subscription payments;
- provide customer support;
- keep your account and data secure;
- improve the application; and
- comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Store and Protect Your Data
Your data is stored securely on our cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit. Each organization’s data is isolated — your business data is private to your organization and is never visible to other users or other businesses using the app. Within your organization, you control which team members can view financial information through role-based access.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. We do not share your business data with any other user or organization. We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the application — our hosting provider and our payment processor (Razorpay) — and only as needed to provide the service. We may disclose information if required to do so by law.
5. Your Rights
You can access and update your information at any time within the app. You may request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data by contacting us. The organization owner can deactivate the organization at any time.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it for legal or accounting purposes.
7. Children’s Privacy
Kokarako is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
